i did say last week’s newsletter would be the last newsletter of the year and i lied! <3 but now is the perfect time to remind you that thanks it’s from ebay is a reader-supported publication, so i’m offering 20% off paid subscriptions until the end of the year. happy holidays!
gaby scelzo is a baker, writer and knicks fan. she writes sifted, a weekly recipe recommendation newsletter on substack and runs gaby’s, a pop up bakery with “the most transcendental scones in human history” according to someone who ate one once. if you need her, you can find her incessantly posting about baking and basketball on instagram.

if one of you doesn’t buy this bundt pan with a big bow on it i will!!! and if one of you does, you better make my gingerbread bundt cake in it.
have you ever looked through all the years of herman miller’s summer picnic series? it takes some googling to find them all but here’s a good place to start. this chocolate cake with a slice cut out of it is one of my favorites — i’d hang it somewhere around my kitchen.
i absolutely must have this tee shirt so i can wear it with tiny bike shorts. i’m begging one of you to buy me this, i’ll do anything.
riding in my grandpa’s tractor was one of my favorite things to do as a little girl. it would make him very happy to see me wearing this.
this makes me want to go paris hilton mode: post up poolside, wear shiny lip gloss and big sunglasses, drink a pina colada for lunch, flip over every 45 minutes to ensure an even bake in the sun. that’s hot.
