I have an eBay-sourced staircase shelf on my wall that I went viral for on TikTok over the summer. I couldn’t find another extra-long one on here, but these two would make a nice arrangement on your wall. Spice rack? Mug storage? Tchotchke display?
“Stairway to the stars” shelves were a popular folk craft item of the early 20th century. This one reminds me of a 1930s Vaudeville set; I can see Fred and Ginger descending the steps on either end to meet on the landing and dance cheek to cheek.
For all the important mail we get these days. Or, some dried flowers, spare buttons, sentimental concert tickets.
For a gentle, warm pop of color. This one can’t fit all that much, but what it lacks in storage capacity, it makes up for in buttery charm!
This one’s for the ditsy and cutesy among us. I have such a soft spot for these folky, hand-painted shelves. Carpentry purists scoff at nice raw wood being painted over, especially by a self-taught artist, but the effect for me is so human and beautiful. Please put little animals on this one! Like this delightful pig on wheels?
I adore the carved banisters on this. They transform the shelf from a piece of furniture into a miniature balcony; it’s just asking for some little occupants to come lean on the railing!
This multipurpose bathroom shelf hasn’t aged quite as well as its wooden counterparts, but I actually love the distinct green tinge of vintage blue plastic. It makes me nostalgic for a design era that I wasn’t even present for.
A cozy accent for that lonely corner in your bedroom. Picture a small, vining plant sitting on the bottom shelf, and your nail clippers on the top.
A sweet goose for you. She has pretty eyelashes and can hold a hand towel, necklaces, or a paper towel roll?
Grinch meets cat! Hang this one up near your scented candles and fill it up with matches. A lighter might be a quicker way to light a scented candle, but doesn’t a candle call for a nice ritual?

This made my eyes happy!
This is so special I love every single one
